Sand & Stone

Your own private paradise in the beautiful Santorini

Sand & Stone

In Megalochori, Santorini, located just 5,8 km away from the capital Fira, you may find Sand & Stone villa, an ideal place for relaxation and rejuvenation during your stay at the famous island.

The initial – prior to the total renovation – building was a traditional undivided Captain’s house with ground floor and rooftop, built at a specific location with a sea view. As Captain’s house, the rooms had tall traditional arched ceilings, while on the ground floor you could find ‘kannavi’, specific areas in the ground, made for wine storage.

The building is drastically renovated using exclusively traditional materials like Santorini’s volcano sand and stones, concrete floor and is painted in light-colored shades, in order to be aligned to the island’s cohesive architecture.

The Sand & Stone villa promises a once-in-a-lifetime vacation experience, with its stunning architecture, immaculate aesthetics, and unsurpassed comfort, style and amenities.

Just let yourself enjoy!

  • “We absolutely loved staying in Megalochori!”

It’s off the beaten path so not as many tourists but all the charm of Santorini. Magda, is a fabulous host. Always responded quickly and helped arrange transportation for us. The house was very clean and perfect for our family (3 adults and 2 kids).
